The Congress has adopted a policy of Divide and rule from the British - PM Modi
Prime Minister Narendra Modi today gave befitting reply for Congress leaders who said there was no reference to the word 'nation' in the constitution. Prime Minister Modi has been referring to the country, saying that the country's first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru and several other dignitaries, including Subramaniam Bharati, highlighted in his statement. He was speaking in vote of thanks for the President speech in the Lok Sabha today.
Referring to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's portrayal of Tamil Nadu as a separate state, Prime Minister Modi said, "This is our country, remembering the patriotism of the people of Tamil Nadu on the death of CDS General Bipin Rawat."
But Congress has always disagreed on this. Congress has adopted a "Divide and rule policy" by the British. So, the Congress is heading the "Tukde Tukde Gang", PM Modi said.
Commenting on the behavior of Congress leader Adhir Ranjan, who was interrupted by the Prime Minister's speech, Prime Minister Modi said, "Chairman, he will try to stop whenever he knows that he is expecting a very hard shot. Someone(Rahul Gandhi) will talk and walk away. These sinners have to suffer it,” PM Modi teased the congress leaders.
"The Congress has been winning elections since 1971 on the slogan of Garibi Hatao (Poverty Alleviation). Even after 40 years, poverty has not been abolished but the poor have eradicated Congress. Congress changed the terminology of poverty. The single shot in 2013 has made the country's 17 crore poor people richer, which is what the youth of the country must know".
"There were also big data on poverty reduction. But he forgot one thing. The poor of this country are not treacherous enough to bring out a government that has worked for their good. This is not the nature of the country's poor", PM Modi said.
"You have come to believe that the mere proclamation of placing the poor in their hands. But, the poor are awakened. The poor have realized you. The country's poor are so cautious that they have stopped you for just 44 seats", said PM Modi slamming congress leaders.
